Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation & Transfers

• You can cancel or transfer to another course up to 14 days before the start date at no charge.

• You will receive a full refund with no admin or other fees.

Late Cancellations & No-Shows

• If you cancel 13 days or less before the course or do not attend, you will not receive a refund or a free transfer.

• No refunds and no free transfers will be offered in these cases.

Why This Policy Exists

• When you book a course, you are paying for a specific place. If you cancel at short notice, that place is unlikely to be filled. And that seat will be empty on that course.

• A smaller group reduces the experience for others, especially in public speaking courses.

• This is my sole source of income, and I cannot afford to have an empty spot while giving you another course place for free.

• No exceptions can be made to this policy.

Alternative Options

• If you find someone (a friend or family member) to take your place, let me know in advance.

• If I am able to fill your spot with a replacement, I can offer you a transfer to another course, but this is not guaranteed. Not every course has a waitlist.

Course Cancellation Insurance

• Consider taking out cancellation insurance or checking if your home/travel insurance covers last-minute cancellations due to illness, bereavement, or travel disruptions.

• I feel bad when I can’t offer refunds for illness, but as a small business, I rely entirely on course fees.

If I Have to Cancel a Course

In rare cases, I may need to cancel a course due to low numbers, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.

• If this happens, you will be offered:

  • A full refund OR

  • A free transfer to another course.

• I am not responsible for additional expenses (e.g., hotel bookings), so please ensure that any travel or accommodation you book is refundable.
